Welcome to A S Gems & Jewels
Loose diamonds are diamonds that have been mined and cut, but have not yet been set into jewellery. They are sold individually and can be purchased in a variety of shapes, sizes, and qualities. They offer a lot of flexibility in terms of design and customization, as you can choose the exact diamond you want and then work with a jeweller to create a setting that complements it.

When purchasing loose diamonds, it’s important to ask for a certificate of authenticity from a trusted grading organization, such as the Gemmological Institute of America (GIA), International Gemmological Institute (IGI) or any other reputed institute. Thus we ensure that our diamonds are 100% certified and our customers get a high-quality diamond that is accurately graded and valued.
When shopping for loose diamonds, it’s important to consider the 4 Cs: CUT, CLARITY, COLOUR, and CARAT weight. The cut refers to the diamond’s proportions and how well it reflects light. Clarity refers to the presence of imperfections or blemishes within the diamond. Colour refers to the presence of any noticeable tint or hue in the diamond. Carat weight refers to the size of the diamond.
The cuts of the diamond are ROUND, PRINCESS, CUSHION, EMERALD, PEAR, BAGUETTE and MARQUISE. It’s important to consider the cut when selecting a loose diamond, as it can affect the diamond’s brilliance, light, and overall beauty.
The colour of a diamond can be range from colourless to yellow, brown, or even pink, blue, or green.
The clarity of a diamond refers to the presence or absence of internal or external blemishes and is based on a scale ranging from Flawless (FL) to intrusion’s (I3). The clarity of a diamond can affect its value and appearance, with higher clarity grades generally being more valuable and more visually appealing.
